About
Amélia Rolland, known professionally as AMÉLIA., is a French vocalist, composer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Inspired by film scores as well as pop, classical, and jazz repertoire, she arranges and directs all of her productions, performing her original songs, film scores, and compositions.
At the intersection of cinematic storytelling and contemporary pop, Amélia creates music that blends emotional depth with a distinct, human voice.
A graduate of USC and Berklee College of Music, she studied under renowned composers and orchestrators, including Pete Anthony and Lolita Ritmanis. Her work is rooted in collaboration and driven by a passion for storytelling across film and new media.
Amélia performed with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall and was a member of the Metropolitan Chorale, directed by Lisa Graham. She appeared as a soprano and flute soloist in the premiere of Yosemite by Ēriks Ešenvalds, and made her debut as a soprano soloist alongside Ben Parry and The Swingles.
An HMMA-nominated songwriter and Global Music Award-winning composer, Amélia. is recognized for her work on Sean The Baby (2025), co-composed with Cameron Adams. She also arranged and recorded the main title vocals for the Amazon series The Envoy with Garry Schyman, and has composed for projects including Dance Your Fears Away (2025) and Thread (2026), in collaboration with director Sandy Ayala.
Amélia is also the lead composer on video game Unchained: Tale Of Enra, set to be released in June 2026.
In addition to her artistic work, she collaborates with Peter Rotter at Encompass Music Partners and serves as a lead composer for the music library RECLAIM.
Amélia is also a founding member of the California Post-Alliance (CAPA).
